Aim: Since 2019, NGO Project Net has been promoting the Senior University initiative in Latvia. The project focused on Senior Radio as an innovative tool for
social inclusion in the learning process. We collaborated with the Senior University at the University of A Coruña in Spain, which operates Senior Radio
with the active participation of elderly learners and has extensive experience in third-age education. This unique exchange of knowledge has significantly
enhanced Project Net's educational work
​Objectives: Our aims were twofold: 1. to promote senior education in Latvia by enhancing the digital, research, international cooperation, and pedagogical skills of
adult educators, introducing the concept of Senior Radio into the adult lifelong learning process, and 2. to develop and strengthen both international and
national cooperation networks between elderly learners and their educators. Our goal was to establish a Senior Radio framework in Latvia, fostering
social inclusion through elderly education.
